తెలుగున్యూస్టుడే, ఇంటర్నెట్ డెస్క్: ఒకప్పుడు మహిళలు ఇళ్లలో కట్టెల పొయ్యిపై వంట చేసేవారు. ఈ పొగ ఆరోగ్య సమస్యలకు దారితీసేది. అయితే కేంద్రంలో ఎన్డీయే ప్రభుత్వం వచ్చిన తర్వాత ఈ సమస్యను పరిష్కరించాలనుకుంది. ఇందుకోసం ప్రధాన మంత్రి ఉజ్వల యోజనకు (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana) శ్రీకారం చుట్టింది. ప్రధాన మంత్రి నరేంద్రమోదీ 2016 ఈ పథకాన్ని ప్రారంభించారు. యూపీలోని బలియాలో పథకాన్ని అంకురార్పణ చేశారు. ఈ పథకంలో భాగంగా పేద మహిళలకు ఉచితంగా గ్యాస్ కనెక్షన్ అందిస్తోంది. ఇందులో భాగంగా ఏడాదికి 12 సిలిండర్లు పొందవచ్చు. ఈ పథకానికి అర్హతలు, దరఖాస్తు విధానం తెలుసుకుందాం..

Ujjwala Scheme వంట గ్యాస్ సిలిండర్ రాకతో సమాజంలో అనేక మార్పులు వచ్చాయి. గ్యాస్ వల్ల ముఖ్యంగా మహిళలకు కట్టెల పొయ్యి అవస్థలు తప్పాయి. అయితే వీటిని పేదలు కొనుగోలు చేయలేకపోయేవారు. దీనిని గమనించిన కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఉజ్వల యోజనను ప్రవేశ పెట్టింది. ఉచితంగా గ్యాస్ కనెక్షన్ ఇవ్వడమే కాకుండా.. రూ.550కే సిలిండర్ను అందిస్తున్నారు.
కోట్ల మందికి ఉచితంగా గ్యాస్ కనెక్షన్
ఉజ్వల యోజన కింద తొలి దశలో భాగంగా దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా 10 కోట్ల గ్యాస్ కనెక్షన్లను ఇచ్చారు. అలాగే రెండో దశలో (UJJWALA 2.0) డిసెంబర్ 2024 వరకు 2.34 కోట్ల కనెక్షన్లు ఉచితంగా అందించారు. ప్రస్తుతం నూతన దరఖాస్తుల ప్రక్రియ త్వరలో ప్రారంభం కానున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
పొగ కష్టాలు దూరం
ప్రధాన మంత్రి ఉజ్వల్ యోజన మహిళల ఇబ్బందులను తొలగించింది. కట్టెలు, బొగ్గులు, పిడకలు ఉపయోగించి వంట చేసేటప్పుడు విషపూరితమైన పొగ వస్తుంది. నిత్యం ఈ పొగను పీల్చుకోవడం వల్ల అనారోగ్య సమస్యలు తలెత్తుతాయి. ఉజ్వల యోజన పథకం ద్వారా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం లక్షలాది కుటుంబాల్లో వెలుగులు నింపుతోంది. అలాగే అనారోగ్యాల బారిన నుంచి బయట పడేలా చేసింది.

ఉజ్వల యోజనలో భాగంగా ఉచితంగా గ్యాస్ కనెక్షన్ లభిస్తుంది.
రూ. 550కే గ్యాస్ సిలిండర్ లభ్యమవుతుంది.
కనెక్షన్ తీసుకున్న సమయంలో గ్యాస్ నింపిన సిలిండర్ ఇస్తారు.
ఈ పథకం పేద ప్రజలకు వరంలా మారింది.

పథకం లబ్ధిదారు మహిళ అయి ఉండాలి.
వయస్సు 18 ఏళ్లకు పైబడి ఉండాలి.
షెడ్యూల్డ్ కులాలు, షెడ్యూల్డ్ తెగల వారు అయ్యి ఉండాలి.
దారిద్య్ర రేఖకు దిగువన గల కుటుంబం (BPL) ఉండాలి.

Ujjwala Scheme కి ఈ–కేవైసీ (e-KYC) తప్పనిసరి..
ప్రధాన మంత్రి ఉజ్వల యోజన కింద గ్యాస్ కనెక్షన్ కోసం తప్పనిసరిగా ఈ–కేవైసీ (e-KYC) చేయించుకోవాలి. ఇందుకోసం బ్యాంక్ ఖాతా నంబర్, ఐఎఫ్ఎస్సీ కోడ్ (IFSC code) అవసరం అవుతాయి. ఉజ్వల యోజన అధికారిక వెబ్సైట్లో (https://pmuy.gov.in/) దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు.
